Any ideas how to get a courtroom location?

Hi,

I was just wondering if anyone has any suggestion of how to get a courtroom location?

In particular, has anyone managed to film in a county court (or similar) on the weekend or during some kind of holiday recess?

Any (sensible) advice appreciated

I think it costs ?280 a day. Just look under their locations listing for "Courtrooms"

courtrooms are every shape and size nowadays, but they all have things in common, things the audience would instantly associate with a courtroom...

(1) the fluer de leur of the mainland british isles

(2) dependent on what type of court - the gowns and wigs for costume

(3) a hammer - why not open with a shot of the 'judge' banging the hammer down and shouting "order"

etc

save yourself the hassle of paying ?280 and having to cram the shoot into one day - use a random room but dress it accordingly
